Los Gaticidas were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fábio Rochemback took the corner. Lu Zhi Qi kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy was a little too slow when Tití Fernandes Braga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a rather tough play, Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s Mustafa Kemal Selman got a free kick in the 18th minute. Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Otomasyon Gençlik F.K. from getting a goal against them. Lu Zhi Qi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fábio Rochemback was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Gaticidas's players had a chance to rest. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Silbestre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Lalla came free, but Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lu Zhi Qi in the 43rd minute. After 45 minutes, Hilmi Uyaralp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Otomasyon Gençlik F.K. and the Los Gaticidas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes Otomasyon Gençlik F.K. got a freekick which was hit by Hilmi Uyaralp. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Claudio Umbruso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilmi Uyaralp in the 51st minute of play. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lu Zhi Qi's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After 54 played minutes Los Gaticidas got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Lalla. When Güneş Süleyman came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Otomasyon Gençlik F.K. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Güneş Süleyman couldn't finish the play. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lu Zhi Qi in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Los Gaticidas's Tití Fernandes Braga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67thth minute of the game Güneş Süleyman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Gaticidas's Claudio Umbruso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 67 played minutes Otomasyon Gençlik F.K. got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Kemal Selman. Güneş Süleyman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Claudio Umbruso made a huge save. Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Panpili in the 79th minute of play. When Los Gaticidas's Lu Zhi Qi in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Los Gaticidas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Otomasyon Gençlik F.K. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
