Esteban Montel kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Claudio Umbruso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Arano, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Cachilo FC's Roque Dorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lu Zhi Qi in the 29th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Uriel Silbestre took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Roque Dorio to make any attempt to save it. In the 34th match minute, Los Gaticidas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Lalla to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Los Gaticidas's Roque Dorio threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lu Zhi Qi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 37 minutes into the match, Los Gaticidas's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Montel came free, but Claudio Umbruso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roque Dorio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lu Zhi Qi to strike the kick off in the second half.
