After 6 played minutes, Academia Rio's Dumitru Pantelimon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Casper Lundin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Academia Rio reached it. 9 minutes into the match, MDV Mount Eaver's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Coșeriu came free, but Casper Lundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Galle during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute, one of MDV Mount Eaver:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MDV Mount Eaver. When Academia Rio's Sergiu Coșeriu in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MDV Mount Eaver's goalie prevented a goal. When Ivar Sundin came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the MDV Mount Eaver fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivar Sundin couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivar Sundin in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gigel Tilea saved Academia Rio from getting behind. When Nicolae Hizo fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academia Rio's protests and gave Nicolae Hizo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of MDV Mount Eaver booed when Academia Rio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolae Hizo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, MDV Mount Eaver's Gigel Tilea threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tom Sjöman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 30 minutes into the match, MDV Mount Eaver's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Coșeriu came free, but Casper Lundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casper Lundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Şimonca in the 35th minute of play. Sergiu Coșeriu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Lundin having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sergiu Coșeriu to make the kick off. In the 69thth minute of the game Edvin Stålberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. MDV Mount Eaver's Casper Lundin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Coșeriu in the 70th minute of play. After having played for 78 minutes, Sergiu Coșeriu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia Rio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergiu Coșeriu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MDV Mount Eaver made a substitution. Tobias Lundgren replaced Ernst Hägg. In the 81st minute, Codrin Ionete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gigel Tilea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivar Sundin in the 84th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivar Sundin in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gigel Tilea saved Academia Rio from getting behind. 86 minutes into the match, MDV Mount Eaver's goalkeeper Casper Lundin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olimpiu Dichiseanu. Casper Lundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergiu Coșeriu, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. MDV Mount Eaver's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
