The crowd rose to their feet as Tony Pacheco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tristram Fleetwood. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Chuffing Hell United's Tristram Fleetwood proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Chuffing Hell United from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tristram Fleetwood narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgardo Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tristram Fleetwood read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Tony Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, New England Minas's Tony Pacheco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tristram Fleetwood. Tristram Fleetwood yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Edgardo Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tristram Fleetwood read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Seb Colton struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Jeremy Nicholas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chuffing Hell United. The throw-in from Alf Lemerond in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by New England Minas's Ye Gang Cheng. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Edgardo Silva hit a great ball. Tony Pacheco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Tristram Fleetwood made a huge save. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seb Colton in the 38th minute of play. Chuffing Hell United's Alf Lemerond managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ye Gang Cheng in the 40 minute of the game. In the 45th match minute, New England Minas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Major to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Seb Colton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chuffing Hell United's supporters rose to their feet, but Seb Colton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremy Nicholas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Tristram Fleetwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Alf Lemerond charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alf Lemerond the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. New England Minas made a substitution. Tio Lio replaced Alperen Öksüz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Silva in the 59th minute of play forced Chuffing Hell United's goalkeeper Tristram Fleetwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute of the match Glen Conklin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tristram Fleetwood showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Arturo Sito came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the New England Minas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Sito couldn't finish the play. After 95 played minutes Chuffing Hell United got a freekick which was hit by Brandon Renner. New England Minas's Glen Conklin got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chuffing Hell United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for New England Minas.
