Edmund Büteführ hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Ştefan Stoica scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Connor Gebert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Connor Gebert made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Gabríel Vassaras sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the match, FC 08 Brühl's goalkeeper Connor Gebert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabríel Vassaras. Bolo Schwarzer's late challenge caught a Vc Brye's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bolo Schwarzer helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC 08 Brühl's Bolo Schwarzer got a free kick in the 11th minute. Ştefan Stoica could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Connor Gebert made a huge save. FC 08 Brühl's Connor Gebert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Stoica in the 14th minute of play. Gabríel Vassaras struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Connor Gebert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vc Brye. Henri-Patrick De Mare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berthold Brecht, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Stefan Ciemiega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC 08 Brühl's Connor Gebert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Stoica in the 25th minute of play. Gabríel Vassaras received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Connor Gebert came out and tried to block the shot, but Gabríel Vassaras slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute Ştefan Stoica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Connor Gebert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC 08 Brühl's Connor Gebert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save FC 08 Brühl from getting a goal against them. Stefan Ciemiega hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 37 minutes of play, FC 08 Brühl's Padro Cambero made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henri-Patrick De Mare was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabríel Vassaras got free with Connor Gebert in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stefan Ciemiega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Connor Gebert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Connor Gebert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Stoica in the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Karl Marx made the kick off in the second half. Connor Gebert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Stoica in the 50th minute of play. Vc Brye were awarded a corner in the 51th minute after FC 08 Brühl's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Comunardo Cianci took the corner. Oyedeji Rau was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 54 minutes into the game, Vc Brye's Cristian Vieri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Connor Gebert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Stefan Ciemiega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Connor Gebert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Connor Gebert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Stoica, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Ştefan Stoica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Connor Gebert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ştefan Stoica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabríel Vassaras in the 71st minute of play forced FC 08 Brühl's goalkeeper Connor Gebert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute Gabríel Vassaras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Connor Gebert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berthold Brecht hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Vc Brye's Fox 鲁迅 was substituted for Cristian Vieri. In the 74th minute, Berthold Brecht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the FC 08 Brühl defense, Fox 鲁迅 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Connor Gebert. The FC 08 Brühl fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Connor Gebert should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the game, Fox 鲁迅 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Connor Gebert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 85 minutes into the match, FC 08 Brühl's goal looked a bit too open when Gabríel Vassaras came free, but Connor Gebert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl Marx struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Henri-Patrick De Mare didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC 08 Brühl. In the 93rd match minute, Vc Brye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Moya to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Fox 鲁迅 made a precise shot to the right of Connor Gebert. FC 08 Brühl's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1.
