But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vlad Enceanu couldn't finish the play. San Fernando Eagles's Ezequiel Marques managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ville Manneroos in the 11 minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, San Fernando Eagles's goalkeeper Bartolo Salvator had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sultan-Mehmet Khan. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Sultan-Mehmet Khan managed to get in a good position for a shot. ✩ Pep Team ✩'s supporters rose to their feet, but Sultan-Mehmet Khan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Spase Kastrati stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vlad Enceanu's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the San Fernando Eagles players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
