Guaberto Playo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Suárez, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Redas Baliukonis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Aron Oks made a huge save. Italia's Guaberto Playo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Bokelund in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Redas Baliukonis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Oks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Munat Tayka's Diedrik Van Mechelen got a free kick in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Munat Tayka's goalkeeper Aron Oks had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Redas Baliukonis. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eleuterio Maraman was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes in the game Tomas Nafarroa did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Flavio Elodio. Roldan Abenda thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Aron Oks, a very annoying self made goal in the 64th minute which led to 1-1. Italia made a substitution. Lorenzo Loi replaced Eleuterio Maraman. Uzuri Abella made in the 69th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Roger Suárez. Aron Oks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Redas Baliukonis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulf Bokelund hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Munat Tayka's David Herstad was substituted for Roger Suárez. After 73 played minutes Munat Tayka got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Bokelund. With a little luck, Italia's Guaberto Playo got control of the ball when Ruben Da Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Redas Baliukonis in the 89th minute of play forced Munat Tayka's goalkeeper Aron Oks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guaberto Playo was a little too slow when Renato Otto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 1-2.
