When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sultan-Mehmet Khan made a kick off. Eurico Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson do Vale having to interfere. Nilson do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sultan-Mehmet Khan in the 56th minute of play. Sultan-Mehmet Khan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sultan-Mehmet Khan got free with Nilson do Vale in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes in the game Claudinei Nascimento did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Billy Dowdall.
