After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Carlos Alberto Massa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Alberto Massa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tales Falcão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Alberto Massa took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tales Falcão. Tales Falcão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaltino Fonseca got free with Tales Falcão in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isaltino Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Tales Falcão made a huge save. Tales Falcão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bobbo Breitner in the 22nd minute. Rogério Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 28th minute Isaltino Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tales Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Higinio Enekoitz during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rogério Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabino Brites, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaltino Fonseca scored 3-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tales Falcão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaias Fonda was the one to do the kick off. Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's Rogério Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Duarte in the 57th minute of play. Tales Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaltino Fonseca in the 60th minute of play. Rogério Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Duarte in the 62nd minute of the match. Tales Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bobbo Breitner in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Nascidos Para Jogar F.C booed when Imperio Cordobés FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabino Brites didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Nascidos Para Jogar F.C got a corner. Imperio Cordobés FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Isaltino Fonseca ran over to the corner to take the kick. Imperio Cordobés FC's Tales Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Alberto Massa in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Duarte came free, but Rogério Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tales Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto Massa in the 82nd minute of the match. Tales Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaltino Fonseca in the 86th minute of play. In the 88thth minute of the game Bobbo Breitner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Imperio Cordobés FC's Tales Falcão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 88 minutes, Bobbo Breitner made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Imperio Cordobés FC's Tales Falcão tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Martin Jordy's late challenge caught a Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Jordy helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th match minute, Imperio Cordobés FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Jordy to maneuver through the defense. Tales Falcão came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's Carlos Alberto Massa. But to his dismay, Carlos Alberto Massa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Nascidos Para Jogar F.C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
