KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfredo Curado ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Umbrella Corporation's Leszek Kornasiewicz to fire away a dangerous shot which Filipe Meireles despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Czeslaw Patora kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, John Lennon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Umbrella Corporation fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Curado in the 48th minute of play forced KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's goalkeeper Filipe Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paolo Cucao to strike the kick off in the second half. With 52 minutes on the clock, Zula Adamowicz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a defensive mix-up in KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's zone, Alfredo Curado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Meireles came out of the goal and Alfredo Curado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling John Lennon in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filipe Meireles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Edgar Winnicki quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leszek Kornasiewicz, made in the 60th minute of the game. In the 63rd minute, Paolo Cucao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antoni Bartoszek in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filipe Meireles saved KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ from getting behind. In the 92nd minute Panda Komando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 minutes Umbrella Corporation's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lech Frankowski who took care of the corner kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Umbrella Corporation walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
