In the 11th minute Julian Raymundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Lodge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Joe Herring managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valencia C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Joe Herring was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Txatxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Q. T. I.'s Paulo Txatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Herring in the 15th minute of play. If Horacio Dolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerry Lodge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Dolfo in the 26th minute of the match. Paulo Txatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Herring in the 40th minute of play. Jerry Lodge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Lluques, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Q. T. I.'s Wilfredo Uxio got a free kick in the 45th minute. Yuan Wei Han fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Txatxu having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Anibal Lluques made the kick off in the second half. Horacio Dolfo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 56th match minute, Q. T. I. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Henrico to maneuver through the defense. Q. T. I. made a substitution. Casimiro Guillelmus replaced Julian Raymundo. In the 57th minute, Jonas Henrico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute of the game Jonas Henrico made a throw-in which Wilfredo Uxio played forward. After some careless play in the Valencia C.F. defense, Casimiro Guillelmus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerry Lodge. The Valencia C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerry Lodge should have stopped the shot. Paulo Txatxu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joe Herring's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Paulo Txatxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuan Wei Han, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Valencia C.F. made a substitution. Tuncay Candeğer replaced Alfred Claydon. Q. T. I.'s Paulo Txatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Herring in the 88th minute of play. Guillermo Farré recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Jerry Lodge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casimiro Guillelmus. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Valencia C.F. lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
