In the 21st match minute, ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lütfullah Hürmüz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄ booed when Palestra do Interior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Pankowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Allan Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Ambjörnsson in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Paulo Godoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hasan Tahsin Hürol. ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Godoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Allan Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell-Arne Ambjörnsson in the 30th minute of the match. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄'s goalkeeper Hasan Tahsin Hürol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Hudson Sergipano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hasan Tahsin Hürol quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hasan Tahsin Hürol came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi. But to his dismay, Paulo Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 44th match minute, ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lütfullah Hürmüz to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Ernani Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The audience was convinced that Paulo Godoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hasan Tahsin Hürol was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Lütfullah Hürmüz kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Paulo Godoi took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hasan Tahsin Hürol. Hasan Tahsin Hürol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Godoi got free with Hasan Tahsin Hürol in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Vitório Lago replaced Paulo Godoi. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Vitório Lago put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Hasan Tahsin Hürol. 76 minutes into the match, ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄'s goalkeeper Hasan Tahsin Hürol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vitório Lago. Hasan Tahsin Hürol was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Vitório Lago capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vitório Lago really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Palestra do Interior's Vitório Lago slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hasan Tahsin Hürol. That made the score 0-8 after 87 minutes of play. Hasan Tahsin Hürol was a little too slow when Vitório Lago got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-9. Allan Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. A collision led to Palestra do Interior getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Percival Cruz hit a great ball. The ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Palestra do Interior were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
