Ralph Sanger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Skarkman in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, B O B I S A's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fábio Araújo came free, but Ralph Sanger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Burukster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mårten Melin to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Matheus Nascimento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Burukster fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. B O B I S A's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvio Pfeifer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute Burukster were awarded a corner. Válbson Soeiro went to the cornerflag to take it. J.C. Mijatović might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremias Ribeiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. J.C. Mijatović ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeremias Ribeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by J.C. Mijatović in the 45th minute. After a rather tough play, B O B I S A's Glen Stäuble got a free kick in the 48th minute. After the first half Burukster were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matheus Nascimento was the one to do the kick off. Ralph Sanger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheus Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Burukster's Dagoberto Souza got a free kick in the 57th minute. Burukster's Dagoberto Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Burukster had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
