If Gerry Fleischer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvio Pfeifer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Ingelbert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Gerry Fleischer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daniel Ingelbert. Gerry Fleischer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goal looked a bit too open when Gerry Fleischer came free, but Daniel Ingelbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Abel Van Den Wijngaert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ralph Sanger was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 22nd minute, J.C. Mijatović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerry Fleischer in the 25th minute of play forced KV Schoonwater's goalkeeper Daniel Ingelbert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, KV Schoonwater's Refael De Boeck got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute of the match Rolf Affentranger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Ingelbert showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 30th minute Abel Van Den Wijngaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Sanger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, KV Schoonwater's Pino Van Hinnendaels got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Daniel Ingelbert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerry Fleischer, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Daniel Ingelbert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerry Fleischer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Abel Van Den Wijngaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Sanger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. B O B I S A's Ralph Sanger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Viklund in the 46th minute of play. Gerry Fleischer's late challenge caught a KV Schoonwater's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerry Fleischer helped the player get up and apologised. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerry Fleischer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abel Van Den Wijngaert spun around in front of the goal 64 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of B O B I S A's goal. Daniel Ingelbert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerry Fleischer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, B O B I S A's goalkeeper Ralph Sanger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Van Den Wijngaert. After a rather tough play, B O B I S A's J.C. Mijatović got a free kick in the 72nd minute. KV Schoonwater's Daniel Ingelbert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by J.C. Mijatović in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Geraerts in the 77th minute of play forced B O B I S A's goalkeeper Ralph Sanger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ralph Sanger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Viklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as KV Schoonwater's Abel Van Den Wijngaert slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ralph Sanger. That made the score 1-2 after 84 minutes of play. B O B I S A's Christophe Mehri was substituted for J.C. Mijatović. KV Schoonwater made a substitution. Philipp Stuijckens replaced Sem Roekeloos. Abel Van Den Wijngaert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Ralph Sanger made a huge save. Ralph Sanger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Refael De Boeck in the 92nd minute. KV Schoonwater's Franky Musseeuw was substituted for Abel Van Den Wijngaert. After 94 played minutes B O B I S A got a freekick which was hit by Glen Stäuble. KV Schoonwater's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
