Murillo Cordeiro made in the 4th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Garsås IF's Maicon Pereira. In the 8th minute, Bror Ståhlman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiago Godoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Tiago Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ola Lund, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Garsås IF's Bror Ståhlman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Murillo Cordeiro, made in the 14th minute of the game. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind São Paulo F.C.'s goalkeeper Tiago Godoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ola Lund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiago Godoi was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ola Lund in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiago Godoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, São Paulo F.C.'s Yaya Sow got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Ola Lund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Tiago Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garsås IF's Alfons Sjö proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Garsås IF from getting a goal against them. Yaya Sows short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Alfons Sjö to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 34 minutes into the game, Garsås IF's Ola Lund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiago Godoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Tiago Godoi came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Garsås IF's Ola Lund. But to his dismay, Ola Lund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 46 minutes of play, Garsås IF's Ola Lund made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiago Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! The São Paulo F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Garsås IF were winning 0-4.

After some careless play in the São Paulo F.C. defense, Ola Lund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiago Godoi. The São Paulo F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiago Godoi should have stopped the shot. 55 minutes into the match, Ola Lund notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of São Paulo F.C.'s Tiago Godoi. Tiago Godoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ola Lund might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiago Godoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ola Lund ran back to his position shaking his head. 59 minutes into the match, São Paulo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ola Lund came free, but Tiago Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Garsås IF's Ola Lund dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. A collision led to Garsås IF getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ola Lund hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Garsås IF's Angelo Mino got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th match minute, Garsås IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Mino to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to São Paulo F.C. getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Dionísio Catarinense hit a great ball. When Ola Lund came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Garsås IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ola Lund couldn't finish the play. Garsås IF made a substitution. Morgan Norberg replaced Enrico Cesaroni. São Paulo F.C. made a substitution. Dirk Snabl replaced Vito Travassos. 77 minutes into the match, Garsås IF's Sven-Ove Stål sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiago Godoi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alfons Sjö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Crispín in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionísio Catarinense in the 83rd minute of play forced Garsås IF's goalkeeper Alfons Sjö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Sven-Ove Stål made a precise shot to the right of Tiago Godoi. São Paulo F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Tiago Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Ove Stål in the 88th minute of play. Sven-Ove Stål might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiago Godoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Ove Stål ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Garsås IF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
