Ice London's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Linus Resentvig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 18th minute, Bob Hamilton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bobby York showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Dhaussy in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter-Jan De Brouwer in the 21st minute of play forced Ice London's goalkeeper Bobby York to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Ice London's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Resentvig came free, but Bobby York reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Ice London was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Devaney to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Alzamendi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute Antonio Alzamendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bobby York saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Bart Theobold cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Phillip Glerum was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Harry Lane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Phillip Glerum made a huge save. When Alan Rusk fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ice London's protests and gave Alan Rusk a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Ice London got a freekick which was hit by Alan Rusk. Ice London's Bobby York played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Linus Resentvig in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ice London's Bánk Madaras got a free kick in the 38th minute. The supporters of Ice London booed when Saco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Linus Resentvig didn't get a good kick on the ball. From close distance Bánk Madaras pressed in the 2-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 40 minutes into the game. In the 43rd minute Bart Theobold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillip Glerum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bánk Madaras to strike the kick off in the second half. Ice London's Bobby York played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Alzamendi in the 51st minute of play. Saco FC's Phillip Glerum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bánk Madaras in the 54th minute of play. Phillip Glerum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bart Theobold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Sol Bailey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Phillip Glerum was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Linus Resentvig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter-Jan De Brouwer took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bobby York. Bobby York dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Phillip Glerum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bánk Madaras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the game, Bánk Madaras cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Phillip Glerum was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ice London were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Saco FC for a fine match.
