Damaso Hurko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Campos in the 11th minute of the match. Menendo Tella hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Tao Xi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Benito in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alican İçten in the 21st minute of play forced Austral FC's goalkeeper Damaso Hurko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerold Grijalba took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tao Xi. Tao Xi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Rosario Moyer hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerold Grijalba was the one to do the kick off. Menendo Tella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tao Xi having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Flames FC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Valda came free, but Tao Xi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
