After having played for 13 minutes, Wellington Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DJK Füchtel Vechta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wellington Nóbrega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lars Norberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matthieu Richardot went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Jay-Jay Struwe hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Gerold Zollt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaj Hård in the 25th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Rea Selbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaj Hård received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gerold Zollt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidiu Poenaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Niklas Söderberg fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored spikarna's protests and gave Niklas Söderberg a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, spikarna's Niklas Söderberg got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kaj Hård stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kaj Hård hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The supporters of spikarna booed when DJK Füchtel Vechta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Terstappen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaj Hård fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerold Zollt having to interfere. spikarna's Olof Hamnberg was substituted for Niklas Söderberg. Lars Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthieu Richardot, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. DJK Füchtel Vechta made a substitution. Philipp Lahm replaced Rea Selbert. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthieu Richardot in the 69th minute of play forced spikarna's goalkeeper Lars Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Wellington Nóbrega was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 87th minute Matthieu Richardot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, spikarna's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Nóbrega came free, but Lars Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerald Abd el Farrag kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, DJK Füchtel Vechta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerald Abd el Farrag to maneuver through the defense.
