The audience thought a goal was coming when Theodosis Chronis got free with Bennvar Buffon in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Αστέρας Δερβενίου were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Bolsodios's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Theodosis Chronis took the corner. Αστέρας Δερβενίου's Savas Ignatiou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Fender in the 8th minute of play. Savas Ignatiou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roberto Cherro went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 12 minutes into the match, Αστέρας Δερβενίου's goal looked a bit too open when Hugues Calonne came free, but Savas Ignatiou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Αστέρας Δερβενίου's zone, Hugues Calonne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Savas Ignatiou came out of the goal and Hugues Calonne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 37 minutes of play, Bolsodios's Roberto Cherro made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Savas Ignatiou was left in no man's land by his defense there! Savas Ignatiou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugues Calonne, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Savas Ignatiou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugues Calonne in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Hugues Calonne notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Αστέρας Δερβενίου's Savas Ignatiou. Savas Ignatiou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Theodosis Chronis to strike the kick off in the second half. Theodosis Chronis charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Theodosis Chronis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Αστέρας Δερβενίου's Theodosis Chronis got a free kick in the 60th minute. Theodosis Chronis kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Savas Ignatiou made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Berto Somiedo sent off a good shot on target. 70 minutes into the match, Bolsodios's goal looked a bit too open when Akakios Kazantzidis came free, but Bennvar Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Stefan Verlinden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Savas Ignatiou managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Bolsodios's Berto Somiedo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Αστέρας Δερβενίου's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leo Fender was slow to take the kick. During this time Bolsodios's players had a chance to rest. Bolsodios's Leo Fender was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Savas Ignatiou in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Berto Somiedo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Savas Ignatiou came out and tried to block the shot, but Berto Somiedo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 94th minute.
