Murilo Prestes started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Oihenarte in the 5th minute of play forced SORRISO E. C.'s goalkeeper Caco Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Oihenarte in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caco Azevedo saved SORRISO E. C. from getting behind. The supporters of Mystyc FC booed when SORRISO E. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hüsnü Saltuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Modesto Roldanillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ryszard Iwanowski in the 14th minute. Modesto Roldanillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mystyc FC's Joost Asselberghs managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Edmílson da Rocha in the 18 minute of the game. 21 minutes into the game, Mystyc FC's Elias Oihenarte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caco Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Mystyc FC's goalkeeper Modesto Roldanillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Murilo Prestes. 27 minutes into the match, SORRISO E. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Elias Oihenarte came free, but Caco Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caco Azevedo came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Mystyc FC's Elias Oihenarte. But to his dismay, Elias Oihenarte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Caco Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Oihenarte in the 42nd minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Mystyc FC got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Bras. After a rather tough play, SORRISO E. C.'s Doni Velloso got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Oihenarte to make the kick off. Modesto Roldanillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Iwanowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SORRISO E. C.'s Caco Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Oihenarte in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Mystyc FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Wang Ming Zhen hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Mystyc FC's Wang Ming Zhen got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Ryszard Iwanowski hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Modesto Roldanillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Iwanowski in the 68th minute of play. Anacleto Monico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Monico in the 78th minute of play forced SORRISO E. C.'s goalkeeper Caco Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to SORRISO E. C. getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ryszard Iwanowski hit a great ball. Behçet Bostancıoğlu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Caco Azevedo. SORRISO E. C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. SORRISO E. C.'s Caco Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Monico in the 87th minute of play. Caco Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anacleto Monico's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Anacleto Monico struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Caco Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mystyc FC. In the 93rd match minute, SORRISO E. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo Prestes to maneuver through the defense. After 94 minutes, Silvério Abraão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SORRISO E. C. and the Mystyc FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in SORRISO E. C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Mystyc FC. Adan Ospetsu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Caco Azevedo. 0-3. The Mystyc FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mystyc FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
