Irreal Madrid's Noel Braga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Irreal Madrid from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the match, Irreal Madrid's goalkeeper Noel Braga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 秦梁翀. Joshua Mccormick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Noel Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noel Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burhanettin Utman in the 16th minute of play. Melbourne 007's Joshua Mccormick got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Joshua Mccormick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31stth minute of the game Alfredo Secco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Melbourne 007's Thomas Diehl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute Alfredo Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Diehl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noel Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 秦梁翀, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodolfo Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Burhanettin Utman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Noel Braga. That made the score 1-0 in the 40 minute of play. Noel Braga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melbourne 007. 46 minutes into the game, Wincent Solecki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Melbourne 007's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Irreal Madrid the free kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Rudy Gummow made the kick off in the second half. Noel Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudy Gummow, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. After taking down the ball on Melbourne 007's corner Joshua Mccormick fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Noel Braga quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 秦梁翀 in the 53rd minute of play forced Irreal Madrid's goalkeeper Noel Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Burhanettin Utman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Braga having to interfere. In the 57th minute of the match Irreal Madrid got a corner. Melbourne 007's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Matheus Dionísio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Afonsinho Mattos was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 60th minute, Matheus Dionísio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thomas Diehl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Secco in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Melbourne 007's Rudy Gummow got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 68 minutes of play, Irreal Madrid's Alfredo Secco made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wincent Solecki was shown his second yellow card after 91 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Melbourne 007 getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Wincent Solecki hit a great ball. Irreal Madrid's Matheus Dionísio got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
