In the 7th minute of the match, Marcus Öberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Godofredo Maule saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 8thth minute of the game Leszek Henryk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fresta BK Väsby's Axel Östlund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Fresta BK Väsby's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Ekeberg came free, but Axel Östlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godofredo Maule showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Biörnberg in the 19th minute of the match. After 20 minutes San Martin de Tucumán's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jens Blomqvist who took care of the corner kick. In the 34th play minute Mikael Apelquist came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Godofredo Maule. 1-1. After having played for 41 minutes, Mikael Apelquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fresta BK Väsby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikael Apelquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shao Wei Wei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Axel Östlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Fresta BK Väsby made a substitution. Patrik Öberg replaced Mikael Apelquist. Fresta BK Väsby's Åke Mårtensson was substituted for Jens-Åke Månsson. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leszek Henryk made a kick off. 62 minutes into the match, Fresta BK Väsby's goal looked a bit too open when Pawel Sakowicz came free, but Axel Östlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henning Nyman scored 2-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Godofredo Maule, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd minute Jeronimo Perfecto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Maule saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The San Martin de Tucumán fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when San Martin de Tucumán's Leszek Henryk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Niklas Ekeberg struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Axel Östlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Martin de Tucumán. Fresta BK Väsby were furious when Doyok Nahumarury was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for San Martin de Tucumán. Nicasio Jaizki stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Axel Östlund. 2-3. Godofredo Maule showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Perfecto in the 97th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdenek Krček in the 99th minute of play forced San Martin de Tucumán's goalkeeper Godofredo Maule to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. San Martin de Tucumán walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
