After 18 played minutes San Martin de Tucumán got a freekick which was hit by Pawel Sakowicz. Godofredo Maule took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar-Allan Poe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shao Wei Wei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Claes Stålberg made a huge save.
