In the 20th match minute, PAIDAGOGOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boleslaw Debkowski to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Shao Wei Wei notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of PAIDAGOGOS's Teobald Piszczor. Teobald Piszczor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. PAIDAGOGOS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shao Wei Wei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. PAIDAGOGOS's Teobald Piszczor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leszek Henryk in the 45th minute of play. After the first half San Martin de Tucumán were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leszek Henryk to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shao Wei Wei got free with Teobald Piszczor in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. San Martin de Tucumán were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after PAIDAGOGOS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicasio Jaizki took the corner. Godofredo Maule tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niklas Ekeberg made a great header on San Martin de Tucumán's corner, it was just that PAIDAGOGOS's Teobald Piszczor managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of PAIDAGOGOS booed when San Martin de Tucumán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Gudesteo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
