In the 26th minute Cesare Punta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Konopka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvise Di Crescenzo in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urbano Saturnin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 48th minute, Georges-Philippe Coussement hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joseph Asklöv made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Sao Brasola's zone, Alvise Di Crescenzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbano Saturnin came out of the goal and Alvise Di Crescenzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmund Konopka was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cesare Punta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 56 minute of play. A collision led to ★Stadion Śląski Chorzów★™ getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Pablo Erosa hit a great ball. Alvise Di Crescenzo might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Urbano Saturnin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
