Nazil Sağlamtürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Bourgas's Filcho Mavrikov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nazil Sağlamtürk in the 13th minute of play. Patric Bierhoff did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Filcho Mavrikov 25 minutes into the match. Galabin Ovcharov kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Bourgas's Filcho Mavrikov got control of the ball when Patric Bierhoff tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute, Patric Bierhoff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Iliyan Praskov made the kick off in the second half. Nazil Sağlamtürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patric Bierhoff in the 54th minute of play forced FC Bourgas's goalkeeper Filcho Mavrikov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yavuz Selimhan Gulson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yoncho Menkov went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bourgas's goalkeeper Filcho Mavrikov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nazil Sağlamtürk took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filcho Mavrikov. Filcho Mavrikov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC KALELİ fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Bourgas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
