With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Orlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christian Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Well-Well O'Connell in the 6th minute of play. Zhuo Chao Chuan kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Ψ S.F 25 de Mayo Ψ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andres Barto in the 11th minute. A nice corner shot did that Andres Barto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Christian Orlan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lautaro Morales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhuo Chao Chuan in the 13th minute of play. Leo Iigo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Lautaro Morales when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Christian Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Barto in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, Ψ S.F 25 de Mayo Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionică Leu to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Mauricio Bitxintxo got a free kick in the 20th minute. Well-Well O'Connell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Christian Orlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Well-Well O'Connell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eliseo Rivero hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Leo Iigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Christian Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Well-Well O'Connell in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Well-Well O'Connell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Andres Barto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Christian Orlan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lautaro Morales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Udo Nigula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Ionică Leu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Well-Well O'Connell was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Well-Well O'Connell in the 53rd minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Christian Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Morales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Udo Nigula in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of CE LAJEADENSE RS booed when Ψ S.F 25 de Mayo Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Rivero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leo Iigo scored 1-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Morales, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ψ S.F 25 de Mayo Ψ's Lautaro Morales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Udo Nigula in the 59th minute of play. Ψ S.F 25 de Mayo Ψ's İrfan Sancar was substituted for Andres Barto. In the 67th minute He Song shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Christian Orlan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. CE LAJEADENSE RS made a substitution. Anísio Koehler replaced Caetano Saad. Ψ S.F 25 de Mayo Ψ's Romulo Esiquio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Renato Quadros, made in the 78th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Bater Palma got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, He Song got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Renato Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Christian Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from He Song in the 85th minute of play. Bater Palma took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Morales. Lautaro Morales dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. CE LAJEADENSE RS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
