CE LAJEADENSE RS's Christian Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Balvín in the 6th minute of play. The corner led Alexandrie CF's Ruslan Tikhonov to fire away a dangerous shot which Christian Orlan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Christian Orlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Balvín, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Silvestre Perrando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Balvín in the 21st minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Christian Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Iigo got free with Matthias Brandin in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Zhuo Chao Chuan took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Matthias Brandin to make any attempt to save it. Christian Orlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Conceicão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute of the match Alexandrie CF got a corner. CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ruslan Tikhonov ran over to the corner to take the kick. Emil Fărcășan hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. A collision led to Alexandrie CF getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ignacio Horado hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Balvín got free with Christian Orlan in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes into the match, Jose Balvín had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Orlan. CE LAJEADENSE RS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jose Balvín was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With his leg Christian Orlan managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Alexandrie CF's Isaac Andrews fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Christian Orlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Andrews, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leo Iigo struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Matthias Brandin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CE LAJEADENSE RS. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Anísio Koehler was substituted for Caetano Saad. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Bater Palma was substituted for Udo Nigula.
