Calaflores FC.'s Víctor Valdés played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Conceicão in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Alexandrie CF's Francisco Conceicão fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Calaflores FC.'s Víctor Valdés proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Calaflores FC. from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coronel Paredes in the 25th minute of play forced Alexandrie CF's goalkeeper Matthias Brandin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calaflores FC.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barros Cifuentes during the 60th minute. Alexandrie CF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
