Pascual Burni received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabio Totakoxe came out and tried to block the shot, but Pascual Burni slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute of the game, Jesus Isauro landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florentino Piarres during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pascual Burni struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Fabio Totakoxe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kaplan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Kannemann in the 31st minute of play forced Forest Green's goalkeeper Fabio Totakoxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 minutes of play, Kaplan's Pascual Burni made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Totakoxe was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute, Damião Granja made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Totakoxe. Forest Green's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The supporters of Kaplan booed when Forest Green was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Guillelme didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Forest Green's Fabio Totakoxe got control of the ball when Luciano Victoro tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacobo Iruinea was the one to do the kick off. Fabio Totakoxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damião Granja in the 72nd minute of play. Emilian Martinez was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Jacobo Iruinea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jacobo Iruinea really showed his touch with that goal: 6-1. In the 79th minute Luciano Victoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Totakoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabrício Kannemann scored 7-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Totakoxe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute, Pascual Burni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kaplan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. 91 minutes into the match, Kaplan's Pascual Burni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Totakoxe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Damião Granja made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Totakoxe. Forest Green's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-1. If Pascual Burni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaplan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
