Despite this Elvio Lohitzun quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luciano Victoro in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elvio Lohitzun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elvio Lohitzun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ren Zhi Ke in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Luciano Victoro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Elvio Lohitzun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 22nd minute Ren Zhi Ke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Lohitzun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elvio Lohitzun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luciano Victoro went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luciano Victoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elvio Lohitzun was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Victoro in the 45th minute of play forced Salinas FC's goalkeeper Elvio Lohitzun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Kaplan were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ren Zhi Ke made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Damião Granja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Lohitzun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaplan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Damião Granja in the 53rd minute. After taking down the ball on Kaplan's corner Baptiste Després fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Elvio Lohitzun quite easily take care of the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Damião Granja recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elvio Lohitzun. Damião Granja showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Ren Zhi Ke sped through Salinas FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elvio Lohitzun. With a little luck, Salinas FC's Elvio Lohitzun got control of the ball when Ren Zhi Ke tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luciano Victoro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Elvio Lohitzun made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Kaplan's Damião Granja slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elvio Lohitzun. That made the score 0-7 after 66 minutes of play. Luciano Victoro in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elvio Lohitzun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kaplan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Damião Granja in the 75th minute. If Ren Zhi Ke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvio Lohitzun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damião Granja in the 86th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Maximino Atarrabi took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Elvio Lohitzun to make any attempt to save it. In the 92nd minute, Damião Granja fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximino Atarrabi got free with Elvio Lohitzun in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
