Cayetano Francho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Cunea's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Alex Cunea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Francho having to interfere. Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Toacsen in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Petri got free with Flavius Ferenț in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the match, Rasnita's goalkeeper Flavius Ferenț had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prospero Petri. Prospero Petri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Flavius Ferenț skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rasnita's Sebastian Toacsen got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Prospero Petri hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the game, Rasnita's Gigel Apăvăloaie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cayetano Francho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The Patay Juniors players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rasnita were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Prospero Petri made a kick off. Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Toacsen in the 56th minute of play. Dorel Vintilescu hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Patay Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Toacsen came free, but Cayetano Francho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Leandro Astigar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Cunea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Cayetano Francho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rasnita's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
