Oswaldo Talavera hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Leon Sport Club defense, Samuel Keller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clóvis Reis. The Leon Sport Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clóvis Reis should have stopped the shot. Clóvis Reis made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Marcus Gantenbein sent off a good shot on target. Clóvis Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Urbez in the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Clóvis Reis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Erroman. Clóvis Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Keller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clóvis Reis made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Samuel Keller sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Samuel Keller slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Clóvis Reis. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. In the 31st minute of the match, Samuel Urbez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Clóvis Reis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Prado in the 35th minute of play forced ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's goalkeeper Goren Puget to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Veliko Saraliev hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Marcus Gantenbein ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clóvis Reis was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Goren Puget made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléberson Loureiro in the 45th minute of play. Samuel Keller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clóvis Reis having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Augusto Costa made a kick off. Goren Puget made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Valdo Prado sent off a good shot on target. Leon Sport Club's Clóvis Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Gantenbein in the 57th minute of play. João Augusto Costa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 59th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 63rd match minute, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Urbez to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Goren Puget got control of the ball when Valdo Prado tried to sneak it across the goal line.
