Clóvis Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasile Angelescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marian Maghirans short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Clóvis Reis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. FC Inter Craiova's Marian Maghiran was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 14th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Maghiran came free, but Clóvis Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clóvis Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Maghiran, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, FC Inter Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Ferreira came free, but David Bîndean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Douglas Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leon Sport Club's Clóvis Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Maghiran in the 25th minute of play. Clóvis Reis made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Vasile Angelescu sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vasile Angelescu got free with Clóvis Reis in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 30 in the game by Marian Maghiran from a close distance when the talented Clóvis Reis managed to make a qualified save. Leon Sport Club's players were relieved. 33 minutes into the match, FC Inter Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Massa came free, but David Bîndean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes FC Inter Craiova's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dráuzio Severo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Leon Sport Club's corner Dráuzio Severo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and David Bîndean quite easily take care of the ball. Marian Maghiran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Clóvis Reis made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Marian Maghiran kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Clóvis Reis. That made the score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, FC Inter Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Kléberson Loureiro came free, but David Bîndean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th match minute, FC Inter Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Agrigoroaiei to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giovanni Massa to make the kick off. David Bîndean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Ferreira in the 50th minute of the match. Douglas Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 蔡飞耀 took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Clóvis Reis. Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Vander got free with David Bîndean in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Maghiran came free, but Clóvis Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Sport Club's Jon Loarte was substituted for Giovanni Massa. David Bîndean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Vander in the 67th minute of play. Leon Sport Club made a substitution. Marcel Ramos replaced Kléberson Loureiro. Prudentio Turiela hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Petre Prisecaru hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Clóvis Reis came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Inter Craiova's Marian Maghiran. But to his dismay, Marian Maghiran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Dale Couch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clóvis Reis having to interfere. FC Inter Craiova's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
