A nice corner shot did that Fernandão Peixoto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Juvenal Sergipano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 18 minutes into the match, Plumerillo's goal looked a bit too open when Lobo Zornoza came free, but Abel Matro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Gonzo came free, but Juvenal Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. From close distance Célio Fontes pressed in the 1-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 21 minutes into the game. After 26 played minutes Plumerillo got a freekick which was hit by Tanek Poreda. 29 minutes into the game, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Lobo Zornoza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abel Matro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Abel Matro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Froila in the 33rd minute of the match. Plumerillo's Abel Matro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Froila in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE booed when Plumerillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugeniusz Koczara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Matro came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Lobo Zornoza. But to his dismay, Lobo Zornoza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Andres Garaona took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juvenal Sergipano. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Jacobo Gonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Jacobo Gonzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Célio Fontes made the kick off in the second half. Lobo Zornoza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Abel Matro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Amado Froila cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Abel Matro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abel Matro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Fontes in the 66th minute of the match. Abel Matro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Froila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd match minute, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Froila to maneuver through the defense. Bahadırhan Yılğıralp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute Lobo Zornoza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Matro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalkeeper Juvenal Sergipano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignacio Fernández. After a rather tough play, Plumerillo's Andres Garaona got a free kick in the 85th minute. Abel Matro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kiko Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Kiko Tande hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Kiko Tande got a free kick in the 89th minute. Jacobo Gonzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Sergipano having to interfere. Juvenal Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Gonzo in the 92nd minute of play. After 94 played minutes Plumerillo got a freekick which was hit by Fernandão Peixoto. Kiko Tande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE were the better team. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
