Spectators: 186 (Terracing: 140, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) Ares FC -MM-'s Baal Ares started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Ares FC -MM- getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Viktor Eklund hit a great ball. Luca Jivulescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nick Heesen went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baal Ares in the 17th minute of play forced Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Georg Hagberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luca Jivulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nick Heesen in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Nick Heesen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Luca Jivulescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gregorio Urtsin made in the 25th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Nick Heesen however managed to control. In the 31st minute, Nick Heesen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gregorio Urtsin hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ágætis Byrjun's zone, Baal Ares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georg Hagberg came out of the goal and Baal Ares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gregorio Urtsin kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baal Ares in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Georg Hagberg saved Ágætis Byrjun from getting behind. In the 39th minute, Ares FC -MM-'s Baal Ares dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Nick Heesen made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nick Heesen got free with Luca Jivulescu in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute, Zé Augusto Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Nick Heesen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luca Jivulescu. That made the score 1-3 in the 63 minute of play. Luca Jivulescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nick Heesen in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nick Heesen in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luca Jivulescu saved Ares FC -MM- from getting behind. Ares FC -MM- made a substitution. Alin Brumaru replaced Mugur Chiriac. With a little luck, Ares FC -MM-'s Luca Jivulescu got control of the ball when Nick Heesen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ágætis Byrjun made a substitution. Jelte Reitsma replaced Ernst Melis. In the 80th minute of the game Zé Augusto Maciel made a throw-in which Karadeniz Otay played forward. 80 minutes into the match, Baal Ares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Georg Hagberg. Ágætis Byrjun's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baal Ares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Ágætis Byrjun's Georg Hagberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baal Ares in the 83rd minute of play. Zé Augusto Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Hagberg having to interfere. Georg Hagberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Eklund in the 88th minute of play. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Baal Ares sped through Ágætis Byrjun's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Georg Hagberg. In the 93rd match minute, Ágætis Byrjun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Cordarius to maneuver through the defense. Alin Brumaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Georg Hagberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
