Spectators: 187 (Terracing: 141, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) CanarioMza's Miltos Chatzistavrou started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anastasio Darien got a throw-in 3 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Adolfo Pirro. Nick Heesen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Loco Fillol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loco Fillol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nick Heesen's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute Ágætis Byrjun were awarded a corner. Ladislao Cordarius went to the cornerflag to take it. Nick Heesen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Loco Fillol made a huge save. Loco Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nick Heesen in the 14th minute of play. Nick Heesen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Loco Fillol having to make a save. Loco Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nick Heesen in the 16th minute of play. Ágætis Byrjun's Georg Hagberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miltos Chatzistavrou in the 17th minute of play. Loco Fillol came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Ágætis Byrjun's Nick Heesen. But to his dismay, Nick Heesen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Sabino came free, but Georg Hagberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Sabino in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Georg Hagberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ditlev Delmont sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nick Heesen in the 27th minute of play forced CanarioMza's goalkeeper Loco Fillol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Gregorio Urtsin got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-0. 29 minutes into the match. After 34 minutes of play, Ágætis Byrjun's Nick Heesen made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loco Fillol was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nick Heesen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute Nick Heesen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Anastasio Darien was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CanarioMza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ágætis Byrjun the free kick. After a rather tough play, CanarioMza's Anastasio Darien got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Nick Heesen made a precise shot to the right of Loco Fillol. CanarioMza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 45th minute of the match Ágætis Byrjun got a corner. CanarioMza's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ladislao Cordarius ran over to the corner to take the kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nick Heesen to make the kick off. Nick Heesen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Nick Heesen put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Loco Fillol. In the 62nd minute, Nemesio Alonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Georg Hagberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Pirro, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Loco Fillol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nick Heesen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nick Heesen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Loco Fillol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick Heesen in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Nick Heesen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ágætis Byrjun fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Ágætis Byrjun's Alejandro dos Santos was substituted for Gert van den Bergh. Loco Fillol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nick Heesen's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute, Nick Heesen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nick Heesen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Loco Fillol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the CanarioMza defense, Nick Heesen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loco Fillol. The CanarioMza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loco Fillol should have stopped the shot. Carlos Sabino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Hagberg having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Nick Heesen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Loco Fillol. CanarioMza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nick Heesen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Ágætis Byrjun's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
