After a rather tough play, Gotham Saray FC's Serkan Gaar got a free kick in the 13th minute. Gotham Saray FC's Apolo Egoitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Gotham Saray FC from getting a goal against them. Nico Gruenewalds short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Apolo Egoitz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Gotham Saray FC's Apolo Egoitz got control of the ball when Casimir Wickihalter tried to sneak it across the goal line. 1. FC Union Weberei's Felix Pierucci got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Apolo Egoitz made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Casimir Wickihalter sent off a good shot on target. Heiner Studer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Halil Ratkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute Erik Hertzog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Egoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Apolo Egoitz managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when 1. FC Union Weberei's Casimir Wickihalter fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as 1. FC Union Weberei's Erik Hertzog slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Apolo Egoitz. That made the score 1-0 after 36 minutes of play. After 42 minutes, Till Schiefer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gotham Saray FC and the 1. FC Union Weberei players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, Gotham Saray FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Till Schiefer to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Gotham Saray FC's Apolo Egoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Pierucci in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute Casimir Wickihalter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Egoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Casimir Wickihalter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Apolo Egoitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serkan Gaar in the 59th minute of play forced 1. FC Union Weberei's goalkeeper Heiner Studer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Casimir Wickihalter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When 1. FC Union Weberei's Nico Gruenewald in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FC Union Weberei's Owain Wollenmann got a free kick in the 75th minute. Heiner Studer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leik Blumenthal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Istvan Wolter kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Victor Gummeson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nico Gruenewald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erik Hertzog kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Heiner Studer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Willibald Holzenkamp in the 91st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Willibald Holzenkamp got free with Heiner Studer in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Gotham Saray FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Wim Hinrichsen hit a great ball. In the 95th match minute, Gotham Saray FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wim Hinrichsen to maneuver through the defense.
