All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Golaki Goiano to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicolás Castillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Polikarp Miheev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jataiense Futebol Clube's attentive Murilo Palmeira managed to snatch the ball when Juan Feliu made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. Nicolás Castillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Polikarp Miheev came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicolás Castillo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 91st minute. Thiago Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Gertsyk in the 95th minute of play. Anton Gertsyk hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Barcelona Lassa fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jataiense Futebol Clube had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
