With a little luck, Panionios MK's Erik Vale got control of the ball when Valter Mellin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Allan Corrigan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valter Mellin in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Dimosthenis Ploumoudis in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cheetah Team's Tim Askberg. Themos Leontiadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Claes Caspersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allan Corrigan in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claes Caspersson saved Cheetah Team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Themos Leontiadis in the 30th minute of play forced Cheetah Team's goalkeeper Claes Caspersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32ndth minute of the game Valter Mellin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panionios MK's Erik Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claes Caspersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Corrigan in the 33rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Cheetah Team defense, Allan Corrigan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claes Caspersson. The Cheetah Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claes Caspersson should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute Allan Corrigan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Caspersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Panionios MK booed when Cheetah Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Holmstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claes Caspersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Themos Leontiadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Themos Leontiadis to strike the kick off in the second half. Sivert Nord got a throw-in 51 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Isac Samuelsson. 53 minutes into the match, Cheetah Team's goal looked a bit too open when Themos Leontiadis came free, but Claes Caspersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sivert Nord got a throw-in 57 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Isac Samuelsson. Sivert Nord kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Claes Caspersson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Themos Leontiadis's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Claes Caspersson made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Allan Corrigan sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Cheetah Team's goal looked a bit too open when Themos Leontiadis came free, but Claes Caspersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute of the match Omiros Maniatis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claes Caspersson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Erik Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Mellin in the 77th minute of play. After 80 minutes, Themos Leontiadis made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Cheetah Team's Claes Caspersson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Claes Caspersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Themos Leontiadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erik Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Mellin in the 87th minute of play. With a little luck, Cheetah Team's Claes Caspersson got control of the ball when Allan Corrigan tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Sivert Nord was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cheetah Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panionios MK the free kick. The Cheetah Team fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Panionios MK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
