The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alvaro Lucidi made in the 2nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Lautaro Suárez however managed to control. In the 4thth minute of the game Lautaro Suárez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Family siempre's Hannan Hamdani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Segundo Rencio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Alejandro Jerano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 12 minutes into the match, Kalessin's goalkeeper Alejandro Jerano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Vigil. When Mauricio Abaurre fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kalessin's protests and gave Mauricio Abaurre a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Kalessin's Alejandro Jerano got control of the ball when Segundo Rencio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alejandro Jerano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Vigil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Family siempre's Mario Elequemedo got a free kick in the 20th minute. Arnoldo Benino's late challenge caught a Kalessin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnoldo Benino helped the player get up and apologised. 29 minutes into the match, Family siempre's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Suárez came free, but Hannan Hamdani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Kalessin's Lautaro Suárez in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Family siempre's goalie prevented a goal. Kalessin's Lautaro Suárez got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Vigil got free with Alejandro Jerano in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hannan Hamdani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonzalo Regis's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the Kalessin defense, Segundo Rencio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejandro Jerano. The Kalessin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejandro Jerano should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Regis in the 42nd minute of play forced Family siempre's goalkeeper Hannan Hamdani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Alfonso Vigil recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alejandro Jerano. Alfonso Vigil showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lautaro Suárez was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Lautaro Suárez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannan Hamdani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Family siempre's goalkeeper Hannan Hamdani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Regis. In the 55th minute of the match Kalessin got a corner. Family siempre's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arsenio Urdin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Arsenio Urdin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hannan Hamdani quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alejandro Jerano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Vigil in the 61st minute of the match. Kalessin made a substitution. Simon Romildo replaced Leonel Hunfredo. A collision led to Kalessin getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Alvaro Lucidi hit a great ball. Alejandro Jerano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Vigil in the 71st minute of play. Alejandro Jerano came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Family siempre's Alfonso Vigil. But to his dismay, Alfonso Vigil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Rencio in the 75th minute of play forced Kalessin's goalkeeper Alejandro Jerano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Elequemedo in the 76th minute of play forced Kalessin's goalkeeper Alejandro Jerano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Family siempre's Segundo Rencio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejandro Jerano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Family siempre were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Kalessin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juss Anderson took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Mario Elequemedo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Vigil in the 83rd minute of play forced Kalessin's goalkeeper Alejandro Jerano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Family siempre's Hannan Hamdani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Family siempre from getting a goal against them. Alfonso Vigil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Jerano having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Bram Bosman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Hannan Hamdani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kalessin's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
