The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 minutes of play, Lost Boys Sports Academy's Pepe Argento made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lew Yashin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 9th minute Pepe Argento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lew Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Modlau's Lew Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pepe Argento in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th minute Jarmo Laik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Drago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Drago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarmo Laik in the 17th minute of the match. Ivan Drago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry McCray in the 21st minute of play. Pepe Argento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lew Yashin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Lew Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pepe Argento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lost Boys Sports Academy's Ivan Drago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry McCray in the 32nd minute of play. Ivan Drago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarmo Laik in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Merih Demiral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lew Yashin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Ludwig Modig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ludwig Modig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pepe Argento to make the kick off. With a little luck, Lost Boys Sports Academy's Ivan Drago got control of the ball when Jarmo Laik tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute, Ludwig Modig made a precise shot to the right of Lew Yashin. Modlau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Lost Boys Sports Academy made a substitution. Coronel Llorente replaced Ludwig Modig. Lew Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepe Argento in the 62nd minute of the match. If Pepe Argento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pepe Argento in the 64th minute of play forced Modlau's goalkeeper Lew Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jarmo Laik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lost Boys Sports Academy's Johan Sellberg was substituted for Pepe Argento. Johan Sellberg took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lew Yashin. Lew Yashin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 74 minutes into the match, Johan Sellberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lew Yashin. Modlau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johan Sellberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Modlau fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! 84 minutes into the game, Johan Sellberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Lew Yashin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Johan Sellberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lew Yashin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johan Sellberg ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Jucha in the 97th minute of play forced Lost Boys Sports Academy's goalkeeper Ivan Drago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lost Boys Sports Academy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
