Songur Yoran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Oprescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 28 played minutes MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV got a freekick which was hit by Edwin 雷岩. When Liviu Frumușanu came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV fans jumped to their feet. In the 46th match minute, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Lucila to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Forsberg in the 47th minute of play forced MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalkeeper Dinu Oardă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Matthias Löfgren made the kick off in the second half. Ernest Oprescu was slow to take the kick. During this time MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's players had a chance to rest. Mihăiţă Moisil did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Songur Yoran 92 minutes into the match. Damaso Orlin was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Arsenal FC's Songur Yoran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal FC from getting a goal against them. The MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
