Matthias Löfgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgilio Pacifico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matthias Löfgren ran back to his position shaking his head. After 19 played minutes Arsenal FC got a freekick which was hit by John Forsberg. Virgilio Pacifico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Orlin in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Einar Hedström made a precise shot to the right of Virgilio Pacifico. Matthias Löfgren's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Virgilio Pacifico skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 79 minutes, Damaso Orlin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damaso Orlin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Patricio Rey Futbol Club getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Albano Gasteiz hit a great ball. Virgilio Pacifico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Löfgren in the 86th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Aldo Blanco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teofilo Hustaz kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the match was over Arsenal FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Patricio Rey Futbol Club throughout the match.
