Songur Yoran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biagio Pallini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the game, Biagio Pallini recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Songur Yoran. Biagio Pallini showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Biagio Pallini took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Songur Yoran. Songur Yoran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Orlin in the 18th minute of play forced Foot Ball Club di Roma's goalkeeper Alvaro Pardini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Biagio Pallini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvaro Pardini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Orlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Forsberg in the 30th minute of play forced Foot Ball Club di Roma's goalkeeper Alvaro Pardini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Matthias Löfgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 36 minutes, Biagio Pallini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Foot Ball Club di Roma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Biagio Pallini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Arsenal FC's Songur Yoran got control of the ball when Niccolo Zaniolo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damaso Orlin to strike the kick off in the second half. Foot Ball Club di Roma's attentive Biagio Pallini managed to snatch the ball when Pål Brun made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. Songur Yoran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Biagio Pallini in the 55th minute of the match. The throw-in from Pål Brun in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Foot Ball Club di Roma's Aurelio Vinciguerra. Foot Ball Club di Roma's Gianluca Mancini was substituted for Nicola Zalewski. Mehmet Çağrı Eraslan's late challenge caught a Foot Ball Club di Roma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mehmet Çağrı Eraslan helped the player get up and apologised. 70 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Ceresoli came free, but Songur Yoran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Arsenal FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Edvard Pihl hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Biagio Scoca came free, but Songur Yoran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Songur Yoran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Biagio Scoca in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Biagio Scoca in the 80th minute of play forced Arsenal FC's goalkeeper Songur Yoran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Pardini was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Matthias Löfgren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Matthias Löfgren really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Arsenal FC's Einar Hedström was substituted for Teodosio Figueroa. In the 92nd minute, Biagio Scoca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Foot Ball Club di Roma fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Arsenal FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Foot Ball Club di Roma had won, even though Arsenal FC had held more of the ball.
