In the 5th minute, Agustin Txatxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Nazil Canay in the 9th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Montesclarense E.C.'s Paulão Medeiros. In the 9th minute Wilson do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Misael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nazil Canay took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgard de Almeida. Edgard de Almeida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Guns And Roses's Nazil Canay in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After taking down the ball on Guns And Roses's corner Segundo Bordat fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edgard de Almeida quite easily take care of the ball. Eustacio Misael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 22 minutes, Marcos Eger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montesclarense E.C. and the Guns And Roses players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes Montesclarense E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Eger. Edgard de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nazil Canay in the 25th minute of the match. Eustacio Misael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 played minutes Montesclarense E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eurico Velloso. If Nazil Canay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edgard de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nazil Canay, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nazil Canay in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgard de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilson do Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Misael having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Lucio Quilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute of the match Ernani Tavares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eustacio Misael skillfully saved the ball. Edgard de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazil Canay in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulão Medeiros was the one to do the kick off. Nazil Canays short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Edgard de Almeida to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Jorge Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 55 minutes into the match, Guns And Roses's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Sá came free, but Eustacio Misael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nazil Canay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Edgard de Almeida when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nazil Canay might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgard de Almeida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nazil Canay ran back to his position shaking his head. Nazil Canay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montesclarense E.C.'s André Luís Schmidt was substituted for Paulão Medeiros. Guns And Roses's Ismael Otsoko was substituted for Mathies Dalsbirk. Montesclarense E.C.'s Edgard de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesús Salvador in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Montesclarense E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jesús Salvador came free, but Edgard de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montesclarense E.C.'s Edgard de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesús Salvador in the 81st minute of play. In the 95thth minute of the game Jesús Salvador who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montesclarense E.C.'s Edgard de Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Guns And Roses players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
