Artzai Tarin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roch Bury, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Manole Cristoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orgullo's supporters rose to their feet, but Manole Cristoiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorin Orghidan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Orgullo getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Franco Grau hit a great ball. Manole Cristoiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorin Orghidan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After some careless play in the Balaceanu UFC defense, Manole Cristoiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorin Orghidan. The Balaceanu UFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorin Orghidan should have stopped the shot. In the 35th match minute, Balaceanu UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Gomez to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Balaceanu UFC's zone, Yan Chuan Yang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorin Orghidan came out of the goal and Yan Chuan Yang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Manole Cristoiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dorin Orghidan was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Kaká de Queirós made in the 45th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Georg Kruusimaa. In the 45th minute, Gungun Karo-karo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Orgullo were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manole Cristoiu made a kick off. In the 51st minute Manole Cristoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorin Orghidan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Orgullo's Manole Cristoiu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Balaceanu UFC's goalkeeper Dorin Orghidan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st play minute Manole Cristoiu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dorin Orghidan. 1-4. Orgullo's Araoz Vallejo was substituted for Mario Zapatero. 66 minutes into the match, Balaceanu UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aimar Barro came free, but Dorin Orghidan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Aimar Barro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Orgullo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Dorin Orghidan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aimar Barro, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Dorin Orghidan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aimar Barro went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Aimar Barro might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dorin Orghidan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aimar Barro ran back to his position shaking his head. Dorin Orghidan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aimar Barro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aimar Barro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorin Orghidan having to make a save. Artzai Tarin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustinian Burdujan in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, Orgullo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gungun Karo-karo to maneuver through the defense. When Aimar Barro came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Orgullo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aimar Barro couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustinian Burdujan in the 92nd minute of play forced Orgullo's goalkeeper Artzai Tarin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Orgullo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
