After taking down the ball on Zielonka Gdansk's corner Qiu Ling Lang fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paul Ramon quite easily take care of the ball. Leszek Falke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paul Ramon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. When Qiu Ling Lang came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Zielonka Gdansk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Qiu Ling Lang couldn't finish the play. Jan Tomaszewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicu Alexandrescu in the 44th minute of the match. In the 86th minute Arda Nurettin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Tomaszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leszek Falke might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paul Ramon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leszek Falke ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched RamPa Football Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
