After some careless play in the Sporting Club Victoria defense, Rivaldo Sagel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roque Gomez. The Sporting Club Victoria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roque Gomez should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute, Silvano Laurin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Santo Giorgio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 17 minutes into the game, FC Santo Giorgio's Rivaldo Sagel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roque Gomez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 21 minutes of play, FC Santo Giorgio's Silvano Laurin made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roque Gomez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roque Gomez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Garrido, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute Roy Keane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Gomez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Rivaldo Sagel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roque Gomez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Laurin in the 33rd minute of play forced Sporting Club Victoria's goalkeeper Roque Gomez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Santo Giorgio were winning 0-9.

Chico Vass took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Abascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the match, Rivaldo Sagel notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Sporting Club Victoria's Roque Gomez. Roque Gomez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nico Garrido's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roque Gomez firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 56 played minutes Sporting Club Victoria got a freekick which was hit by Albano Aurken. Roque Gomez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zico Zidane in the 57th minute of the match. The supporters of Sporting Club Victoria booed when FC Santo Giorgio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastián de la Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nico Garrido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luis Tavio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 76 minutes into the match. After 77 played minutes Sporting Club Victoria got a freekick which was hit by Luis Tavio. Silvano Laurin, 79 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Silvano Laurin notched a goal, 0-13, to the right of Sporting Club Victoria's Roque Gomez. Roque Gomez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgardo Calderón came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roque Gomez could save by the left post. In the 86th minute, Zico Zidane reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roque Gomez. The goal made the score 0-14. Albano Aurken kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Ryland Giggs recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roque Gomez. Ryland Giggs showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-15. After a rather tough play, FC Santo Giorgio's Javier Castillo got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute, Silvano Laurin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roque Gomez. The goal made the score 0-16. FC Santo Giorgio's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
