After 15 played minutes Froghino got a freekick which was hit by František Vavřina. Froghino's Radislav Hošťálek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Călin Boieraș in the 16th minute of play. Radek Jílek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radislav Hošťálek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basarab Panduru, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Lucrețiu Sfetcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Kunovský in the 24th minute of play. Froghino's Radislav Hošťálek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basarab Panduru in the 25th minute of play. Horia Chioreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Radislav Hošťálek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Radislav Hošťálek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basarab Panduru in the 33rd minute of play. Jiří Skrbek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Froghino's David Kunovský sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucrețiu Sfetcu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Leonard Floricel in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Froghino's Vojtěch Holásek. Jiří Skrbeks short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Lucrețiu Sfetcu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiří Skrbek in the 48th minute of play forced FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Sfetcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The corner led to Froghino's Lot Hough getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 61st minute, Lot Hough hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Froghino getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Lot Hough hit a great ball. Costin Malcoci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radislav Hošťálek having to interfere. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Eric Gorcea was substituted for Valer Perișoară. Radislav Hošťálek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costin Malcoci in the 69th minute of play. Froghino's Miroslav Valchář was substituted for Lot Hough. Froghino's Jaromír Ambroz was substituted for Radek Jílek. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt made a substitution. Adrian Nasta replaced Basarab Panduru. In the 78th minute of the match Froghino got a corner. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dalmu Coello ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Dalmu Coello got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lucrețiu Sfetcu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Manuel Tunaru kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Jiří Skrbek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jiří Skrbek might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucrețiu Sfetcu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jiří Skrbek ran back to his position shaking his head. When Manuel Tunaru fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's protests and gave Manuel Tunaru a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Manuel Tunaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radislav Hošťálek made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Adrian Nasta sent off a good shot on target. Adrian Nasta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Radislav Hošťálek came out and tried to block the shot, but Adrian Nasta slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 93rd minute.
